Key Features:
Ethereal Appearance:
Saltwater ghost feeder shrimp possess a unique translucent quality that gives them an otherworldly appearance. Their subtle and delicate presence adds a touch of mystery to your aquarium.
Nutrient-Rich Diet:
These feeder shrimp are packed with essential proteins and natural vitamins, making them a highly nutritious choice for a wide range of marine creatures, from finicky eaters to growing juvenile fish.
Natural Feeding Behavior:
As they move gracefully through the water, ghost feeder shrimp stimulate natural predatory instincts in your marine inhabitants, encouraging active hunting behavior and enhancing their overall well-being.
Live Food Option:
Harvest and feed them live, providing your aquarium inhabitants with a fresh and wholesome meal, effectively mimicking their natural feeding habits.
Detritus Management:
In addition to serving as live food, these shrimp play a role in keeping your tank clean by consuming small particles of detritus and helping to control algae growth.
Care Requirements:
Tank Size:
Saltwater ghost feeder shrimp are suited for a range of aquarium sizes. Provide a stable and well-maintained environment, with a small to medium-sized tank typically sufficient for their care.
Water Parameters:
Maintain water conditions with a temperature between 68-78°F (20-26°C) and a pH level between 6.5-8.0, tailored to the preferences of your marine species.
Filtration:
Effective filtration is crucial to ensure optimal water quality by preventing ammonia and nitrite buildup. Regular water changes should also be conducted.
Feeding:
Ghost feeder shrimp thrive on a diet of microalgae, detritus, and small organic particles in your aquarium. Ensure that they receive a balanced diet to maximize their nutritional value for your aquatic pets.
Compatibility:
These shrimp are generally peaceful and can coexist with various marine fish and invertebrates. However, use caution when keeping them with aggressive or predatory species.
Breeding:
Saltwater ghost feeder shrimp can reproduce easily in a controlled environment. Providing them with hiding spots and a stable, mature setting can foster a self-sustaining population.
Harvesting:
To use ghost feeder shrimp as live food, set up a separate breeding or harvesting tank for collection and introduce them to your main aquarium as required.
Saltwater ghost feeder shrimp are a captivating and nourishing addition to your marine aquarium. Their role as both a live food source and an algae control agent makes them invaluable in maintaining the overall health of your aquatic community. With proper care and attention to water quality, these transparent shrimp can enhance the well-being of your marine companions and bring an element of wonder to your underwater world.

Came with some dead
This is my second order. I never counted them but I am hoping they added at least 10 in each bags because I always received a lot of dead shrimps. Otherwise they are ok.
