Notes:
The Diamond Goby is also known as the Pretty Prawn, Maiden, Orange Spotted Diamond, Orange-dashed, or Orangespotted Sleeper Goby.
The Diamond Goby has a white body with orange spots.
To be successful with the Engineer Goby requires an established 30 gallon or larger aquarium with plenty of live rock and a sandy substrate so it can burrow. It needs plenty of hiding places and peaceful tankmates. It rarely becomes aggressive towards other fish, but is territorial, and will fight with its own kind unless they are a mated pair.
The Diamond Goby feeds off the bottom, sifting through the sand keeping it oxygenated. It should be fed a varied diet including a variety of live and frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, live black worms, and prepared foods for carnivores.
