Clove Polyps are very good coral for beginners as they are rapid growing, hardy and light on demands. They are filter feeders and do require additional target feedings of zooplankton and supplements for good health. Clove Polyps do best with medium light with moderate water movement. They are capable of being stung by more aggressive corals, so spacing is necessary to other corals.
This coral will come attached to a rock, shell or frag plug.
The Orange Clove frags have at least 3-5 polyps per frag, many have quite a bit more.
