To be successful with the Pearly Jawfish provide at least a 30 gallon well cycled tank with thick substrate and loose rubble for burrows. Pearly Jawfish jump out of open aquariums, be sure you have a tight fitting lid. The Pearly Jawfish is deemed to be Moderate Care Level only due to the fact that they are jumpers and need their private dwelling to not feel threatened; once this criteria is met they will adjust fine to their new environment.
